Holiday Giving Project

The Holiday Giving Project serves Lifetrack families during the season of hope and joy. We connect families who are experiencing poverty during the holidays with generous community members who are able to fulfill a family's holiday wish list.

Mission Statement

For nearly 70 years, healthy, stable families have been at the heart of Lifetrack. Our mission is to work together to develop the strengths within children, families and adults facing the greatest life challenges. Our whole-family approach addresses barriers related to poverty, disablity and trauma. Each day we help children reclaim a healthy start and provide families and caregivers the tools to pursue employment and economic opportunity.

Description

We focus on two areas:

  • Child & Family Success - We serve 1,300 children annually who are at risk of developmental delays and educational failure due to poverty, disability and/or exposure to trauma/violence. We provide 3,400 children and adults therapeutic services and resources. Additionally, over 35,000 working adults seek our educational resources to learn how to balance work and family.
  • Employment & Economic Opportunity - Each year we serve 1,300 adults as they find, keep and advance in their employment. Our comprehensive approach includes ongoing employment support to ensure individuals retain jobs by learning soft skills necessary in a complex work environment. Our largest and most specialized services are geared toward immigrants and refugees and individuals with disabilities.
