SeniorServ is looking for a friendly visitor for a homebound senior in Garden Grove. As a friendly visitor, you visit in the home of the older adult and offer conversation, friendship, and understanding. A commitment of one to two hours per week is all that is expected, which may not seem like much to you, but it will mean the world to this senior and her family. She has no friends and is very lonely. She is looking for someone who shares her sense of humor, which can be dark or sarcastic at times.

As a volunteer you will be a part of SeniorServ, who provides services for over 1,000 homebound seniors in Orange County, to help seniors remain as independent as possible. SeniorServ's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of seniors and their families in our community. The Friendly Visitor Program is an important part of that mission.
