ORGANIZATION: National MS Society- Idaho-Nevada-Utah

Working in the Development Department, the Walk MS intern will be responsible for assisting with pre-planning and execution of the Walk MS 2018 campaign. The intern will provide event support to the Development Team and assist with distribution, recruitment and fundraising.

Job Responsibilities include:

Candidate skills and qualifications:
  • Ability to represent the National MS Society in a professional manner
  • Ability to engage others in conversation and solicit needed information
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team or independently
  • Ability to coordinate multiple deadline-driven tasks

MS stops people from moving. The National MS Society exists to make sure it doesn't. The Society addresses the challenges of each person affected by MS by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, collaborating with MS organizations around the world, and providing programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward.

Volunteers are a driving force of the movement to cure MS.
