Volunteer Purpose and Impact

Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is hosting a Winter Wonderland event this December to celebrate the holidays with community members and kids in foster care. Each child, foster and biological, will receive a gift at the event. Help make this year’s Winter Wonderland complete by playing Santa Claus!

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables

  • Spread Christmas cheer
  • Dress and act the part of Santa
  • Pose for pictures with kids
Qualifications

The Volunteer Santa must have a passion for the holiday season and be compassionate of children’s wishes.

Working Conditions

Santa will be seated for most of the event to take pictures with kids. Santa may walk around and greet children.

Location and Timeframe

Winter Wonderland will take place on December 16, 2017. Tentative event times are 10:30am to 2:30pm. Location of event coming soon!
