Seeds 4 Success, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Annapolis whose mission involves guiding youth in public and subsidized housing so that they are able to become healthy, successful adults, is seeking mentors and tutors for our Eastport Boys Club program, to inspire boys in grades 3-12 who live in Annapolis public or subsidized housing communities. http://s4sannapolis.org/
As a Mentor you take the lead in supporting an Eastport Boys' Club boy through an ongoing one-to-one relationship! You serve as a positive role model to your mentee, plan and participate in activities together, and work collaboratively with the EGC staff to support achievement of personal goals.
As a Tutor you meet with your tutee one hour a week during weekly program from 5-6pm at the Eastport Community Center to work together on reading and writing development. Help a child develop goal-setting skills and increase his ability to succeed.
