The City of West Palm Beach is holding a volunteer event that is open for the public to join! We are going to be working THIS Saturday, October 21st along Okeechobee Blvd to help clean/remove the old landscaping, so that it can be replanted/replaced in the near future. While we will be working along Okeechobee Blvd, we are asking for all participating volunteers to park at the West Palm Beach Marriott Hotel no later that 8:45 a.m. If you enter the Marriott from the Okeechobee entrance there is parking to the left after pulling in. We will then walk over as a group from the Marriott, to the work site. The Clean-Up will go from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at which time we will walk back to the parking lot.
We will be providing all necessary tools and supplies for the volunteers to participate in this opportunity. This includes gloves, cold water, and any hand tools that may be needed.
If you are interested in participating, please email Brandon Zickar to receive the required Volunteer Application. Without this form being filled out and returned, you will not be able to participate.
