Alzheimer's Association RivALZ Blondes vs. Brunettes is a volunteer-driven event that engages young professionals in friendly but fierce flag football games around the country. As part of the competition, teams are organized around age-old rivalries - such as Blondes vs. Brunettes - that inspire fundraising, awareness and action in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Description
The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support, and research. The Illinois Chapter serves 87 counties, with offices in Bloomington, Marion, Chicago, Joliet, Peoria, Quincy, Rockford, and Springfield. Since 1980, the Association has provided reliable information and care consultation; created supportive services for families; increased funding for dementia research; and influenced public policy changes across the state.
