The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners is seeking two (2) residents to serve three-year terms on the Soil Erosion, Sedimentation and Stormwater Runoff Control (SESSRC) Ordinance Board of Appeals.
This Appeals Board consists of five members appointed by the Leelanau County Board of Commissioners. The Appeals Board may affirm, reverse, or modify the Code Enforcement Agency’s action, or remand the matter to the Code Enforcement Agency for more information. The Appeals Board may not grant variances from the requirements of the Soil Erosion, Sedimentation and Stormwater Runoff Control Ordinance. The Board meets on an as-needed basis.
