Open Space Volunteer Day
Trail Maintenance/Preserve & Beach cleanup
NEW DATE: Saturday, Feb 23th, 2019
Time: 9:00am-12pm
Location Forrestal Reserve
Start 2019 in a productive way and help the environment!
Do you love outdoors and nice views of nature?
Then come help us restore and keep our preserve and parks beautiful.
Depending on the specific project:
Volunteers could be helping restore some of the trails damaged by the rain.
Tasks may include: filling up gullies with dirt, moving rocks, cutting invasive weeds, and more.
Volunteer may also assist picking up trash along the trails and the reserve.
We provide all tools needed or you can bring your own.
Don't forget to wear sunscreen, a hat and walking/hiking shoes.
Bring water.. Stay hydrated!
A great way to get a good workout while doing community service and get credit for your volunteer hours!
