Many of our patients need a Fidget Blanket to help them with dexterity, comfort, something to challenge and entertain them. Blankets with added buttons, zippers, pockets, Velcro, and other add-ons are some of the types of Fidget Blankets needed. Examples offered but welcome your ideas as well!

Description

Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care.

Volunteers are an integral part of the hospice program allowing VITAS to continue personalizing, enhancing, and expanding services offered to patients and families. Through exemplifying VITAS values, volunteers serve as patient and family advocates and are pro-active in helping to meet the needs of patients and families.
