Net Impact

Volunteers play an important role in helping to ensure a smooth and fun experience for our conference attendees. In exchange for volunteering 8 hours (four 2-hour shifts), you will receive a complimentary student or professional regular pass.

Please note, volunteers are also required to attend a training session on Thursday, October 26th at the Georgia World Congress Center.

General Conference Volunteer Sample Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities

Registration Volunteer and Greeters

Registration volunteers are responsible for welcoming attendees and distributing registration materials.

Exhibit Hall Volunteer

You will assist all our exhibitors with set up, general errands, and take down throughout the expo.

Speaker Staging Room

You will assist speakers get everything ready for their session.

Signage Assistant

Room and event locations are constantly changing. You’ll be helping place signs, change signs, and print new ones if necessary

Hall Monitors and Food Hall Monitors

Between breakouts and before meals, everyone is going to be moving at the same time in the convention center. Help attendees find their way and move them along to keep the flow of traffic going in the right direction

Keynote Ushers Counters

Help attendees find seats at the front of the keynote hall. This is a massive room, and we want people to be as close to the stage as possible. Encourage them to move forward and fill in empty seats between people. You will stand at the doors of the keynote and count attendees.
