FPA Fall festival 17

We holding a Fall Festival on Sunday, October 22nd from 2 to 6 pm at the American Legion Post 99 by the fair grounds. This is a completely free family event. We are looking for people to bring cars decorated for trunk-or-treat as well as booths to set up inside the building with activities and prizes or candy for the kids. The attendees at this event will be mostly families who have or are currently experiencing homelessness.

To empower families in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho Communities who are at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness, to achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

Description

Family Promise assists families who are at risk of homelessness, experiencing homelessness, or recently exiting homelessness to reach self- sufficiency through a community-based response. We provide a three-pronged approach to address local needs: prevention, shelter, and aftercare. FPA provides comprehensive services to help families become self-sufficient. FPA provides intensive case management and skills training needed to overcome barriers and find sustainable housing and jobs.
