We are looking for male mentors to come and hang out with youth in our programs! We have a group of young men who range in personalities and interests. Some enjoy the outdoors, fishing, biking, sports, etc. while others enjoy watching movies, playing video games, and listening to music. Our group of guys range from the ages of 14-18 and are all located here in Grand Rapids.
The purpose of our program is to match the youth attending the Center with a positive adult male role model, that can show the youth what a healthy adult relationship looks like, someone who is there to listen to the youth, someone who takes the youth out to have fun and get away from their home lives, and someone who will help the youth reach their goals.
We ask that all mentors agree to commit to a year long mentorship, where they will meet with one specific youth for at least 4 hours a month.
If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity or have any questions, please reach out to Amanda at akjones@bethany.org or 616-224-7438.
