South County Habitat for Humanity is looking for a board treasurer.

Job Description:

  • Attends all Executive Committee and Board Meetings
  • Understands financial accounting for non-profit organizations
  • Serves as the Chair of the Finance Committee
  • Manage, with the Finance Committee, the Board's review of and action related to the Board's financial responsibilities
  • Working with the Executive Director, develops an annual budget
  • Presents the annual budget to the Board for approval
  • Provides monthly financial status reports to the Executive Committee and Board
  • Oversees and supports preparation for the annual financial audit
  • Review the annual audit and answer Board members' questions about the audit
  • Participates in all aspects of Board Governance as a Board member

Board meetings are the 2nd Monday of every month at 5 PM (adjusted for holidays)
Executive Committee meetings are the 4th Tuesday of every month at 8 AM
