We Need Volunteers
We Need Volunteers!!!!

There are many opportunities to volunteer with Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity. Volunteer in our office doing filing,data entry, mailings and reception duties. Pitch in on construction sites in the Charlotte County area (Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Englewood) to help with framing, painting, siding, and finishing work on a Habitat Home-- Remember, No Experience is necessary! Help in our four resale stores in Englewood, Punta Gorda , Port Charlotte and Murdock. The duties involve sorting and organizing furniture and other donations, helping customers (accepting donations or helping with purchases),and helping in the shipping and receiving department with calls to schedule pickups for more donations. If able to lift 50 lbs, you could help move furniture in the store or help customers with donations or purchases of furniture.

However, if substandard housing becomes socially and morally unacceptable, and the issue of decent housing finds a permanent place in the hearts and minds of everyone around the world, the problem can be overcome and the vision can become a reality.
