Native Plant Install at Creve Coeur Park

Help us improve the native plant butterfly gardens installed earlier this year with "fill-in" plants. Also, we will be planting the Mallard Lake shoreline with a variety of native shrubs and small trees. Bring a shovel if you have one, and waterproof boots or waders might be helpful. We will meet in the south lot at the Creve Coeur Lakehouse.
All projects begin at 9:00 am with registration starting at 8:30 am. All are half-day, ending by noon. Gloves and other supplies/materials are provided.

Founded in 1915, the St. Louis Audubon Society offers free field trips around the St. Louis region; educational programming on birds and related topics to adults and public and private schools; habitat restoration projects including invasive species removal, plantings and cleanups; and offers an on-site habitat consultation and certification service to help landowners improve their landscape for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and their own enjoyment. St. Louis Audubon is an affiliate chapter of the National Audubon Society with over 3,000 members in the 10-county St. Louis, Missouri metro area.
