Girlfriends Pray Local is recruiting!

The GP Local objective is to (a) establish a physical presence in local communities to serve women (b) create an environment where women can meet other positive like-minded women of faith and (c) be supported in their faith walk (via prayer). This function reports to the Director of Expansion.

Our mission is to get more women closer to God through prayer; our vision is to get 1 million around the world united in prayer.

Although we are a non-traditional unconventional ministry with 80% of our service to women delivered virtually, we are now expanding our off-line efforts to bring GP prayer and discussion groups to local communities around the world where women can connect and have fellowship, food, and fun on the strength of our faith.

The look and feel of GP local is a monthly breakfast/brunch of 10-12 women gathered for the purpose of book discussion over breakfast/brunch.

The focus of the discussion is on Christian books that aid us in learning how to cover ourselves in prayer.

What is the role and responsibility of an ambassador?

o Promote the mission and vision of GP

o Serve as the GP local organizer and primary contact for women in the local market

o Manage the GP local Facebook presence for the designated area

o Plan and host GP local monthly meet-up

o Lead/facilitate the discussions

o Manage communication and responds to local request

o Attends GP local meetings/training sessions

o Serves for minimum of 1 year
