Talented and interested individuals are trained in-house to perform the duties of docents at the renovated and inspiring presidential Library in Yorba Linda. Those chosen will join the prestigious Docent Guild volunteers greeting and educating visitors from all over the world. There are many ways to explore the volunteer opportunities at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. Contact us at email@example.com. See our website at www.nixondocents.org, go to our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/nixondocents or our Instagram @nixondocents.
The purpose of the Docent Guild is to provide information to all visitors regarding the permanent and temporary exhibits and the Birthplace; to recruit and train volunteers to become docents; to provide School, VIP, Adult and Garden Tours; Special Event and Evening Event coverage; and to provide educational programs.
Our WWW.facebook.com/nixondocents page shows docents in action. We are an entirely volunteer organization, 170 members strong. As a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation we are operated solely by volunteers. The Richard Nixon Library and Museum is one of 13 widely known and greatly respected Presidential Libraries operated under the auspices of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
