We're a nonprofit all-volunteer cat rescue based in Waltham, MA. We have been a foster-based organization but we recently opened our own cat shelter! Please join us at this exciting time in our mission to save the lives of stray and abandoned cats!

The volunteer in this crucial position would be the first line of contact for potential volunteers, so a friendly disposition and the desire to help are essential!

Duties include:

  • receiving and processing incoming volunteer applications
  • contacting potential volunteers in a timely manner to discuss available positions
  • matching potential volunteers with appropriate volunteer positions based on applicant’s skills and interests, and TCC need.
  • forwards potential volunteer applications to the appropriate TCC coordinators
  • records volunteer contact and updates volunteer info spreadsheet as needed
  • works with TCC coordinators to stay current on open volunteer positions

To control the local feral (undomesticated) cat population through Trap-Neuter-Return-Maintain (TNRM) programs and to facilitate the adoption of stray and abandoned cats and kittens into responsible permanent homes through our foster care and adoption programs.

Description

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit and we rescue stray and abandoned cats in the greater Waltham, MA area and try to find them loving homes.
