Help out at Family Promise's Annual Warming Ways for Winter! All proceeds go to supporting families experiencing homelessness. The event will be on November 16th in the evening, at Temple Emanuel (51 Grape St, Denver, CO 80220). We are looking for 15 volunteers to help out in the kitchen, serve food during dinner, and clean up afterwards. We’ll need people from 4 pm until 8:30 pm. Minimum age is 18, or 14 with a parent or guardian.

Description
Family Promise of Greater Denver provides shelter, meals, rental assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness in the Denver area. We also work with families on employment, long-term housing solutions and other goals to ensure self-sufficiency and a brighter future.
Family Promise of Greater Denver began serving homeless families in 1997 and is part of a national network of 180+ affiliates. Since our founding, we’ve helped more than 1,000 families, including 1,900 children. Today, an average of 70% of families leave with housing and 85% of adults secure employment while they’re in the program!
