Are you interested in honing your leadership and event-planning skills? Are you passionate about helping young girls learn about technology? Consider joining ChickTech Corvallis's leadership team as our Event Logistics Manager! We welcome applicants of any gender.
ChickTech is a national non-profit dedicated to supporting and advancing women/girls in technology. As Event Logistics Manager of the Corvallis branch, you would be responsible for coordinating any logistics necessary to ensure that our local events run smoothly. Logistics for our events commonly include catering, site setup, and transportation.
Commitments also include:
- Availability on days in which we have our events
- An occasional flexibility to attend calls/meetings with our lead workshop volunteers
- Attendance at our weekly team leadership meetings

ChickTech is dedicated to retaining women and non-binary people in the technology workforce and increasing the number of people of marginalized genders pursuing technology-based careers.
Description
ChickTech is a multi-generational community helping each other become technology creators. We facilitate hands-on technology-centric events and mentorship to empower, support, and increase the confidence of girls, women, and non-binary folks. Through our programs, we build community, empower participants to see themselves as leaders, and provide networking and mentoring opportunities in the rapidly growing tech industry.
As a mostly volunteer-run non-profit, we are always searching for partners who would like to get involved through donations of expertise, volunteer time, in-kind, funding, or just by helping to get the word out.
