The SFCO is dedicated to making classical music accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds across the Bay Area by providing fully professional, admission-free concerts and educational programming. The organization is also committed to inspiring and enlightening the next generation of music lovers through several outreach programs.
SFCO requires volunteers to create a welcoming atmosphere, assist patrons to their seats and distribute programs.

Description
Since 1953, the San Francisco Chamber Orchestra has served the SF Bay Area through performing classical and contemporary orchestral music. In its current form, the SFCO presents over forty concerts free of charge annually around the Bay for ages 3 - 103 by the Bay Area's most ardent musicians.
