Places for People provides an unparalleled toolkit of programs, services, and resources for people who have serious mental illnesses, typically accompanied by complex and multilayered challenges: chronic homelessness, substance abuse disorder, primary health disorders, and trauma. Our mission statement reflects our commitment to serve the most vulnerable people in our community: "Provide caring, effective services to help those with the greatest challenges recover from mental illness and associated chronic illnesses."
Each fall, we host Harvest Moon, a dinner and fundraiser for Places for People at the Jewel Box and we are in need of volunteers to help make this event a success!
When? Saturday November 4th
Time? 5:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Where? The Jewel Box in Forest Park, 1 Wells and McKinley Drives, St. Louis, MO 63110
5 Volunteers are needed to help with set-up and clean up, and help with table service in between for approximately 2.5 hours (7:30-10).
Wear a white shirt and black dress pants.
Dinner will be provided
