About

Volunteers visit patients for companionship and socialization. Patients need a volunteer when the family is not able to be there at their side 100 % of the time and no deserves to be alone. Volunteers make such a difference in helping patients, in their heart that they truly want to give of their time. Visits can be as little as 1 hour to 4 hours depending on the patient and the volunteer request.

There is no personal care or feeding. If patient does not lives in their own home and it is a community, assisted living, or group home. The patient enjoys the socialization. Putting together a puzzle or painting, maybe watching a movie on a computer or music or scrabble or just some coffee.

Training is provided at no cost, An Application, background check, drug screen and Drivers License car insurance, TB, Flu shot are needed no cost. On going education thru out the year and just a real volunteer heart to be with patient. It makes a difference in the patients life. One Volunteer smile at a time.
