ProHealth Hospice is seeking Friendly volunteers/companions for an Oakland patient. (Fruitvale district)
How you'll help:
You'll provide companionship, support and added socialization to our Hospice patient. Visits may include simply being present, reading aloud, playing music and or more.
As a Hospice volunteer, you'll make a difference in the life of a patient by being a friendly visitor.

Volunteer requirements
- Age 18 years or older
- Completion of a background check (paid for by ProHealth)
- Completion of a TB test/Chest X-Ray (paid for by ProHealth)
- Completion of a Drug screen (paid for by ProHealth)
- Completion of our volunteer orientation (online using your own computer or device)
- Must have a schedule that will allow for consistent visits to the patient (will be flexible with your schedule)
