The mission of the St. Cloud Community Pantry is to reduce hunger in the St Cloud community by providing food to local residents in need. The only they way they can accomplish this is to be able to get the food that is provided through the generosity of our partners and supporters. Local businesses in the area often have food to donate, but cannot deliver it to the pantry. This is why the pantry relies heavily on volunteer drivers who are willing to spend 2-3 hours a week to pick up food directly from businesses and deliver it to the pantry.

Requirements of drivers:

  • Need to be consistent on a given time and day.
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • A year commitment is preferred

RSVP, a part of Senior Corps, is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over, and has partnered with the St. Cloud Community Pantry to recruit volunteers for this amazing program. With more than 300,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide, RSVP shows how you can apply the skills and wisdom you have acquired throughout your life to make a positive difference in the lives of others. RSVP is federally funded by the Corporation of National and Community Service. Our volunteer support services are 100% free!
