And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know about the most effective ways to contribute.
The mission of the St. Cloud Community Pantry is to reduce hunger in the St Cloud community by providing food to local residents in need. The only they way they can accomplish this is to be able to get the food that is provided through the generosity of our partners and supporters. Local businesses in the area often have food to donate, but cannot deliver it to the pantry, themselves. This is why the pantry relies heavily on volunteer drivers who are willing to spend 2-3 hours a week to go and pick up of the food directly from the businesses and deliver it to the pantry.
Requirements of drivers:
Need to be consistent on a given time and day.
Must have a clean driving record
A year commitment is preferred
