THE MARCO PLAYERS, Marco Island, is immediately seeking Stage Managers for the 2017-2018 season. Responsibilities include stage management of assigned Mainstage, musicals, and theater productions.
The Marco Players is the oldest not-for-profit, 501(c)3, community theater on Marco Island. As a volunteer-driven organization that operates year-round, The Marco Players Theater delivers live community theater and music to residents and visitors of SW Florida.
The production season runs early July 2017 through mid-May, 2018.
Details:
The Stage Managers will manage auditions; contact actors; distribute rehearsal schedules (via email); attend rehearsals; organize appropriate paperwork; record blocking; manage crews and manage crew schedules; distribute rehearsal and performance reports (via email); liaison with Artistic Director, Director and design staff. The Stage Manager reports to the Director and Artistic Director.
