Volunteer at Hanauma Bay

New Interpretive Guide Volunteers are needed at the Hanauma Bay Education Program (HBEP)

Are you friendly, passionate about protecting Hawaii's marine life, and enjoy hanging out at the beach?
If so, we need you! Volunteer at Hanauma Bay just 4 hours per week on a day that works best for you.

Our volunteers interact with all visitors to Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve and help to educate them on proper reef etiquette, marine life, history of the bay, and how to be better stewards of our lands and oceans. Your volunteer efforts at the bay will foster greater appreciation and stewardship of coastal and marine environments.

No experience is necessary as we will provide you with training. The next training program will take place over four Saturday mornings at Hanauma Bay beginning on October 28, 2017. An application, interview, and at least one shadow shift should be completed before attending training. Please call or email for more information or to request an application packet.
