Energetic volunteers with dynamic people skills are needed to help organize Girl Scout troops in the Cicero area.
Volunteers are needed to provide fun, exciting programs after school or in the evening. Our programs challenge students to think creatively about commerce, science, civics, math, healthy living and the environment.
Troop meetings run approximately an hour and a half. You state the day and time you are available and we will find you a troop that needs you!
Training and orientation are required prior to volunteering but provided at convenient times, dates and location.
Excellent opportunity for college students
majoring in education, environmental studies, social studies, and recreation.
Knowledge of the Spanish language helpful but not
necessary.
