Mission Statement
Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We have a vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Description
Habitat for Humanity brings families and communities in need together with volunteers and resources to build decent, affordable housing for low-income families.
St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity partners with working families, sponsors, and communities to build affordable, sustainable, quality homes and to provide support services that promote successful home purchase and ownership in Pierce and St. Croix counties, WI. The goal of our building program is to eliminate poverty housing in Pierce and St. Croix counties, and to carry out our housing and development projects with a responsibility to the "triple bottom line" of environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable communities.
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a nonprofit home improvement store and donation center that sells new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials and more to the public at a fraction of the retail price. ReStores are independently operated by the local Habitat for Humanity organization and 100% of the proceeds are used to help build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter in the St. Croix Valley.
