Volunteer your time as a Food Drive Holiday Helper at Tarrant Area Food Bank during the busy holiday season. Friendly and service-oriented volunteers are needed to help Tarrant Area Food Bank's Receiving Department assist individuals who are dropping off food drive donations.
Your responsibility will include but is not limited to:
- Greeting donors at the receiving dock
- Assisting in unloading and weighing donations
- Providing a receipt to acknowledge the donation
Holiday Helpers MUST be 16 years or older and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Helpers should be willing to work in a warehouse environment that is not temperature controlled. Your help will ensure that food is received and documented properly while also ensuring that each donor is appreciated for his/her efforts to fight hunger in our community.

Description
Tarrant Area Food Bank distributes food to more than 300 partner agencies in a thirteen county service region. In the past year, TAFB distributed over 30 million pounds of food to neighbors in need. TAFB also offers complementary programs such as nutrition education, food stamp outreach, mobile food distribution, food for children and community gardens for children and adults of our member agencies.
