Title: Cross Posting Specialist

Department(s): Cross Posting & Shelter/Rescue Relationships

Reports to: Team Manager & Assistant Manager

Summary: One component of Rescue Me Ohio’s mission is to form relationships with all 88 county shelters in the state of Ohio. These relationships are important in order to post county adoptables to social media platforms, ensure standards of care are being met, become a resource for the county shelters and/or promote any special needs the shelter may have.

Summary of essential functions

• Build and maintain professional relationship with your assigned shelters or Humane Societies.
• Assist with maintaining up to date information about shelter
• Post adoptable animals to RMO’s Facebook page with proper format & information as directed by manager
• Update status of posted adoptables
• Maintain open line of communication with shelter
• Moderate your respective posts for negativity, questions and/or profanity

Required Skills

• Knowledge of rescue and Rescue Me Ohio and it’s policies

• Ability to follow-through on commitments

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a team setting

• Ability to follow directions

• Ability to multitask

• Creativity, the ability to think outside of the box
