CWS Greensboro offers weekly Job Classes to help new refugees prepare for successful integration into the American workforce. Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm and are a fun and interactive combination of ESL and Workplace preparation.
Volunteers are currently needed to assist with lessons in resume building, job specific English, mock interviews, and identifying transferable job skills that clients may have practiced in the past.
Since Job Class is ongoing, we do ask that interested volunteers be able to commit to a minimum of three months of service. If this sounds like an opportunity that you would like to participate in, sign up today and play an integral role in helping new refugees achieve self-sufficiency!
In order to get started, please visit our website, http://cwsgreensboro.org/get-involved/volunteer/ and fill out a volunteer application today.
