Sandhill Cranes @ RGCF

Put on your boots, fill up a water bottle, grab a friend and come lend a hand on Saturday, 28th at the Community Farm!

Our primary project will be transplanting fruit trees from a neighbor on the Los Poblanos Open Space into our Community Garden. We need folks who like to dig, use shovels, can throw pick axes around and have a deep love for trees.

Follow up work will be done in our hedgerow that was planted back on Earth Day on this year. It's been a rough summer but most of the perennials are still green. They need to be weeded, mulched and given soft loves.

You will also have a chance to help out our newest and most awesomest partner, Tres Hermanas Refugee Farm of LFS Refugee - Albuquerque.

We will have tasks that everyone and anyone can help out with!

Water will be provided but bring a bottle to reduce waste.

Protection from the sun, closed toe shoes, and a good attitude are all highly recommended.
