This is such a fabulous volunteer opportunity!!

You spend one hour a week. It is very flexible, no set days. You go when it is convenient for you.

Let me share my last visit at the Beavercreek location. It was with a gentleman who truly wants a volunteer! He is a Veteran and does enjoy sharing his stories from his military time. He is widowed and he misses his wife. He will show you letters he wrote his wife that look like a picture of a horse and one that looks like a flower. But they are actually love letters to his wife. He is on oxygen so spends a lot of time in his room. He really wants some company and he is so friendly.

Isn't that a great way to volunteer, give back, make a friend?

We also have locations in Oakwood, Kettering and Fairborn if they are closer to your location.

Please consider Brookdale Hospice. We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen; but we pay for everything! It's really not a hard process.
