This is such a fabulous volunteer opportunity!!
You spend one hour a week. It is very flexible, no set days. You go when it is convenient for you.
Let me share my last visit at Miami Township with a lady who truly wants a volunteer! She greeted me at her door (she lives in the community (building)). She was so pleased to see me and never stopped talking. She is confused but so extremely kind and pleasant. She had a career in the school system in Physical Education. We walked outside and enjoyed the visit while taking a beautiful walk.
Isn't that a great way to volunteer, give back, make a friend?
Please consider Brookdale Hospice. We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen; but we pay for everything! It's really not a hard process.
