This is such a fabulous volunteer opportunity!!
You spend one hour a week. It is very flexible, no set days. You go when it is convenient for you.
Let me share my last visit at the Finneytown location. It was with a gentleman who truly wants a volunteer! He lives in the Memory Care section of the community (building). He loves it when someone walks with him while he wheels around in his wheelchair. He is so friendly and just wants someone to talk with him.
We have many residents just like him at Finneytown. We also have Deer Park, Springdale, and Kenwood.
Isn't that a great way to volunteer, give back, make a friend?
Please consider Brookdale Hospice. We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen; but we pay for everything! It's really not a hard process.
