This is such a fabulous volunteer opportunity!!
You spend one hour a week. It is very flexible, no set days. You go when it is convenient for you.
Let me share my last visit at the Springdale location. It was with a lady who truly wants a volunteer! She lives in the Memory Care section of the community (building). She is so sweet, loves to hold hands. She simply lights up when someone visits with her.
In addition to Springdale, we also have Kenwood, Deer Park and Finneytown if those locations are closer to you!
Isn't that a great way to volunteer, give back, make a friend?
Please consider Brookdale Hospice. We do require fingerprints and urine drug screen; but we pay for everything! It's really not a hard process.
