On Tuesday, October 31st Senior Action hosts one of its most exciting events all year - The Fall Harvest Festival!
We celebrate fall with over 100 local seniors for activities like carnival games, pumpkin decorating, costume contests, cake walks, and line dancing. Throughout the day, we’ll have fire pits roaring, s’mores roasting, popcorn popping, and hot cocoa flowing.
To make this event fun for our seniors, we really need the help of community volunteers.
We have several shifts available or you could sign-up to help us all day!
- Set-Up (7:45 AM to 10:00 AM) - Help us set-up tables, chairs, tents, pumpkins, and hay bales
- Games, Concessions, and Lunch (9:30 AM to 2:00 PM) - Help us run a fun carnival game or serve lunch or food from one of our concession booths.
- Break-Down (1:30 PM to 3:00 PM ) - This may not be the most glamorous jobs, but it’s one of the most important. We need help efficiently breaking down the event so we can be ready for a new day on Wednesday!
We are excited to make this our best Fall Festival yet!

We offer health promotion and prevention programs, fitness programs, daily meals, transportation (to and from our centers & medical appointments), home care, social opportunities, lifelong learning, and volunteerism.
