Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Alzheimer's Association Western Carolina

Begun in 2012, The Longest Day is the 2nd signature fundraising event for the Alzheimer’s Association, after the highly successful Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The Longest Day is all about love - love for all those affected by Alzheimer's. On (or around) the summer solstice, thousands of people will team up with Alzheimer's Association to do something they love to raise funds and awareness for those affected by Alzheimer's.

The Alzheimer’s Association, Western Carolina Chapter is currently forming a Volunteer Committee for The Longest Day 2018! Tasks will include assisting with recruiting and cultivating Longest Day teams, brainstorming with staff on ways to take The Longest Day 2018 to the next level, and spreading the word about The Longest Day initiative as well as the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association. Monthly meetings will be held, primarily by conference call which will be held once a month on the second Monday of each month at 6pm.
