Allegro Foundation's annual Ambassador's Ball is taking place on January 11th, 2020. As we cannot leave any items at Quail Hollow, we are in need of some night owls to help us load our truck after the event! This would be from around midnight until 1:00 or 1:30 am on January 12th, 2020. You are free to help the whole time, or for just a little while - any amount is certainly appreciated!
Volunteers are so important to the success of Allegro Foundation...a Champion for Children with Disabilities, and ensures that children can continue to receive movement education classes FREE of charge!

419 Ardmore Rd., Charlotte, NC 28209, US
Allegro Foundation... a Champion for Children with Disabilities is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization that combines movement instruction with medical and educational expertise, creating new techniques to teach children with disabilities and enhance their quality of life. Allegro teaches more than 700 children with intellectual disabilities, Down syndrome, orthopedic challenges (wheelchairs and walkers), Spina bifida, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, muscular dystrophy, visual and hearing impairments, children "at-risk", and children with cancer in FREE classes every week!
The teaching assistant will be working one on one with a child with a disability or a child "at risk". Classes are held once a week throughout Charlotte and are thirty minutes long. A volunteer will assist a child with a disability by steadying them if they appear to be unstable, demonstrating techniques they are not familiar with, and most importantly, being a friend.
