Helping organize the OCR Food Pantry assists families in need.

Owasso Community Resources operates a Food Pantry helping more than 200 families with a week's worth of groceries on a monthly basis. OCR receives food donations that need to be sorted, organized and put on shelves to be distributed.
This opportunity involves standing for a period of time and lifting upwards of 40 pounds.

Description

We provide basic needs for families facing economic hardship. We provide help and hope through emergency food and utility assistance, on-site counseling services through partner agencies, job search assistance and referrals to area agencies. We are committed to helping families move closer to a long-term self-sufficiency while lessening agency dependence
