Interested in talking to international populations? Interested in talking period?? Consider volunteering for Pacific International Academy's Conversation Partners Program in which international students are paired with community volunteers (like you) in order to improve their English speaking and listening skills and promote intercultural exchange. The only requirements: speak Native/fluent English and be able to meet with your partner consistently. Interest in international topics/populations is a plus! Conversation partners usually meet for about an hour once a week, but the meeting time and frequency are completely up to the student and volunteer! If you're interested or would like more information, please reply to this post or call PIA at 503-999-5012 and ask for Bridget Wells (Program Coordinator).
