The River Project Release of the Fishes

The River Project invites you to the 7th annual Release of the Fishes! Join us at the Wetlab to learn more about the marine animals, help us thank our educational ambassadors, and release them back into the Hudson River with The River Project scientists. There will be refreshments served and raffle prizes to be won!

We need your help to:

  • Set up & break down!
  • Greet guests!
  • Serve food and drinks!
  • Man the welcome table!
  • Sell raffle tickets and t-shirts!
  • Help staff and participants release fish into the Hudson River!*
*If you wish to assist in releasing fish and have no experience, please be prepared to attend a training on 10/29 or 10/31 anytime between 2pm and 5pm. It should only take a half-hour. Please let us know when you are thinking of attending.
Persons 16 years old and under require the presence of a guardian to work this event.
