The River Project invites you to the 7th annual Release of the Fishes! Join us at the Wetlab to learn more about the marine animals, help us thank our educational ambassadors, and release them back into the Hudson River with The River Project scientists. There will be refreshments served and raffle prizes to be won!
We need your help to:
- Set up & break down!
- Greet guests!
- Serve food and drinks!
- Man the welcome table!
- Sell raffle tickets and t-shirts!
- Help staff and participants release fish into the Hudson River!*
Persons 16 years old and under require the presence of a guardian to work this event.

Mission Statement
The River Project is a non-profit marine biology field station, dedicated to the protection and restoration of wildlife and habitat through research, education, and hands-on programs in urban ecology.
Description
The River Project conducts summer events to raise public awareness of Hudson River ecology issues. It also conducts on-going research and limited internship opportunities are available.
