Come help Locust Grove Nature Center show our visitors the remarkable animal community that uses our park after dark. We'll have live animal presentations; a night hike; games and crafts, and a campfire to celebrate these night-time creatures.
Volunteers help with setup, event activities, and cleanup. Training will be provided on the day of the event.
Volunteers must meet the minimum age requirement of 15.

Description
Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
