We are hosting our annual Hunger Hero Harvest Carnival, it is fun for the entire family! Cost of entry is a bag of non-perishable food items per person. Entry includes; games, lunch, prizes, costume contest, face painting, music, and MORE! All food collected will go directly to a food insecure child attending elementary school in the Torrance Unified school district and the Los Angeles Unified school district. Please consider volunteering with us to to FACE PAINT. You can volunteer as an individual or as a group, we are hoping for 4-8 volunteers to face paint. Lunch and beverages will be provided to all volunteers. The opportunity is on Saturday, October 26th from 10am to 2pm at DCH: Toyota of Torrance (2909 Pacific Coast Highway, Torrance, CA, 90504) Please email me to confirm dede.o@cchild.org. Description

Community's Child is a nondenominational Christian program committed to providing homeless women with infants healthy alternatives to abuse, poverty, addictions, and hopelessness. The program offers homeless women and their infants a safe, compassionate, yet structured living environments. At Community's Child, women acquire the education, skills training, employment opportunities and support services, necessary to break the patterns associated with homelessness.
