Join United Way in delivering WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks to eleven schools that helps feed over 500 children each and every weekend of the school year.
WeekEnd Hunger Backpacks are provided to children at schools throughout the Valley. Each backpack contains seven supplemental meals and snacks to ensure a child has food over the weekend and comes back to school Monday, read to learn!
We currently deliver to Phoenix Elementary School District, Balsz School District, Cartwright School District and Tempe School District.
Volunteers must be 21 years or older, have a valid drivers license and operational vehicle. Please contact us for available dates (typically Friday mornings unless schools are closed).
