To provide homeless women and children with basic needs while fighting to end
homelessness. Our vision is to lend a helping hand building the community, one
individual at a time.
MISSION
This initiative begins annually from September through December. Items will be
distributed this year on December 16, 2017. Will be servicing families, especially
women and children that were affected by Harvey. We do not discriminate to any
ages, races, and genders. Although, we primarily service women and
children, this 2017 initiative will provide assistance to all those affected by
Harvey who reside in Cunney Homes Housing Projects. We are partnering up
with the nonprofit, Make Me Over New- Houston.
We give out the following items to every family:
Toys
Socks
Wipes
Diapers
Toiletries
Oral Hygiene
Winter Gear
Educational items
Meals, Snack packs, and Beverages
Household items (soap, washing supplies, etc.)

Mission Statement
We annihilate generational deficits in families by supporting, educating, and cultivating parents. Purposeful Parents proactively envisions a strong community that is self-sustainable, revitalized, and unified. We work to demolish homelessness, retract fatherless families, diminish child abuse, retract poverty and offer support to families with household that have any area of lack and emotional deficiency.
Description
Purposeful Parents is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 2012 by Krystal Sias. A personal journey of single parenting as a teenager was the foundation for the organization that was created to provide supportive services and resources for parents with emphasis on single parents ages 16 & up. The organization has a core curriculum that was built solely to assist mothers find purpose, strength, and help give them empowerment, which places them on the path to a better life. We provide fundamentals necessary to raise powerful children. Trying to break the cycle of teenage pregnancy, incarceration, and violence among youth, the organization places its focus on both strengthening and empowering the mother, while helping to create a better foundation while raising her children. Purposeful Parents, Inc. also partners with other organizations to care for the community, by volunteering in nursing homes, assisting the homeless, the elderly, and other various projects. Building a stronger community, empowering individuals to be self-sustainable, revitalized, and unified is the goal. "Iron Sharpens Iron," and Purposeful Parents intends on helping every individual it touches be purposeful, "Because parents with purpose produce powerful children!"
