North Oakland Village Volunteer
Do you enjoy people? North Oakland Village a non-profit organization is looking for general volunteers. Looking for organized individuals with strong people skills who enjoy seniors and have good communication skills. Volunteers help with a variety of tasks from driving seniors to grocery store, garden help,& hands on computers assistance. Additionally, volunteers who are skilled with admin, websites, non-profit marketing, membership growth and development.
North Oakland Village is part of the national Village-to-Village movement a non-profit that creates community, engagement and support for seniors aging-in-place. We are looking for a volunteers to help us during our continued growth. We strive to impact positive change on the local level in the City of Oakland and to help develop an Aging Friendly City.

Description
North Oakland Village is a grassroots non-profit membership community. almost entirely run by volunteers. We are part of a loosely associated national network of "virtual villages" designed to assist seniors live independently as long as feasible.
