We're excited to be launching this years volunteer program through the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Washington. This year offers three fun and interactive roles our volunteers can fill to have a positive influence in a child's life; mentor, bookworm buddy/tutor, and program volunteer.

This is a great opportunity for those interested in working with elementary school aged children in the field of education (specifically Club members 1st-5th grade) or for an individual who would like to become more active in their community. Let's work together to make an impact on the life of a child today!

We have group orientations every Tuesday at 6pm at the O.K. Clubhouse and Wednesday at 6pm at the Clinton & Gloria John Clubhouse.

Requirements & Commitment

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 14
  • Orientation or Training
  • One hour per week for a minimum of 3 months
  • Background checks required for those over 18. 14 year old's may volunteer if they are in high school
